Welcome to Vinsula, Inc.
We are a Seattle-based cybersecurity firm founded in 2011 and focused on the problem of zero-day malware exploits and advanced persistent threats (APT). Unlike traditional approaches that rely on signatures of known malicious files or heuristic algorithms, our software takes a proactive approach to analyzing potentially harmful files. Vinsula’s patent pending system is built on proprietary technology originally developed by security researcher Ivo Ivanov for his security product, Antihook. This original software has been broadened and expanded to provide highly granular application, network, and kernel-level data and runs native on both 32- and 64-bit Windows platforms. Our initial product, the Vinsula Execution Engine (VEE), will give security researchers a broad and deep view of a suspicious file’s behavior. The VEE beta release will be available to select partners during Q1 2014. If you are interested in participating in our beta program, please contact us. Our security blog contains VEE activity reports and analysis of selected recent malware.
