Welcome to Vinsula, Inc.
We are a Seattle-based cybersecurity firm founded in 2011 to focus on the problem of zero-day malware exploits and advanced persistent threats (APT). Unlike traditional approaches that rely on signatures of known malicious files or heuristic algorithms, our software captures and analyzes detailed behavioral data to identify malicious activity.
Vínsula is built on proprietary technology originally developed by security researcher Ivo Ivanov for his security product, Antihook. This original product has been expanded to provide highly granular application, network, and kernel-level data and runs native on both 32- and 64-bit Windows platforms. Vínsula’s core technology—the Vínsula Kernel Agent—captures detailed information on file I/O, registry changes, processes, thread execution, modules, memory, remote code execution, hooks, and network packets in order to proactively identify malware. Our security blog contains activity reports and analysis of selected recent malware.
Vínsula will soon launch a beta program focused on integrating the Vínsula Kernel Agent with selected SIEM platforms. If you are interested in this program, please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
