We are a Seattle-based cybersecurity firm founded in 2011 to develop a solution to the problem of zero-day malware exploits. Unlike traditional antivirus software that relies on signatures of known malicious files or heuristic algorithms, our software takes a proactive approach to ferreting out potentially harmful files. Quite simply, if a file is unknown, we open it up and see what it does before allowing it into the network.

Vinsula’s patent pending system is built on proprietary technology originally developed by security researcher Ivo Ivanov for his security product, Antihook. This original software has been broadened and expanded to provide highly granular application, network, and kernel-level data and runs native on both 32- and 64-bit Windows environments. Our system leverages this malware detection engine across proven scalable cloud-based technology allowing it to meet the demands of any organization, large or small.

Our solution is designed as an additional layer to existing technologies—one that catches the attacks that the other spam and virus filters miss.
